MeetYourself brings lightness to mental health, whether you’re feeling well or looking for support. The app helps people explore themselves through a playful experience, guided by a mix of expert techniques and thoughtful design. In this case study, we walk through the core parts of our process, from framing the design challenge to building the storyboard, illustrations, and final video, showing how design can make self-discovery feel engaging, accessible, and human.

The process

Creating an animated video like this typically takes 4 to 8 weeks—from defining the core message to crafting the visuals and refining every detail in production.

The design quest

The challenge was to communicate a sensitive topic in a way that feels playful and approachable. Through art direction, tone of voice, and storytelling, we aimed to connect with a wider audience—without falling into the clinical or overly serious tone often seen in the mental health space.
